There is no need to stress this aspect of the important of Nursing in the Health delivery system and the shortage of the man - power in this stream, not only in India but even world wide. Keeping this in mind we have established a nursing college to meet the demand in India and the outside world.

This college is affiliated to the medical University of Punjab, namely Baba Farid University of Medical Sciences Faridkot. It is approved by the Nursing Council of Punjab and Nursing Council of India

Our new session of the batch of 40 students of B. Sc. Nursing was started for the Academic year 2006-2007.

This college is fully equipped and its building structure has been provided as per norms and condition laid down by the Nursing Council of India.

Process of establishing a school of Nursing for imparting training in General nursing and midwifery (GNM) has already started and the required Infrastructure is available in the form of Equipment and the Building. This course will be useful in the preparing another army of trained Nurses for our own Hospital and for others outside in the country and abroad.
